SUBSTANCE: method refers to medicine, specifically to diagnostic methods. Substance of method of fatty liver disease diagnostics in patients suffering from chronic hepatitis C consists as follows: blood serum of the patient is analysed for apolipoprotein A-1 and apolipoprotein B-100. High level of apolipoprotein B-100 within 1.15-1.17 g/l and low level of apolipoprotein A-1 within 0.89-0.92 g/l indicates fatty liver disease in patients suffering from chronic hepatitis C. Application of method enables to diagnose fatty liver disease in patients suffering from chronic hepatitis C, thus providing timely choice of therapeutic measures of treatment.

EFFECT: diagnose fatty liver disease in patients suffering from chronic hepatitis C, thus providing timely choice of therapeutic measures of treatment.
