FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: combat compartment includes a tower with an automatic cannon (AC) and a twin-barrelled gun, which are arranged on it, a launching unit (LU) of anti-tank controlled jet projectiles (ATCJP) installed in a rotating mask, manholes arranged in the tower cover plates, commander and operator sighting units, instruments and mechanisms of a fire control system, LU of a screen installation system (SIS) and antenna inputs. Instruments and mechanisms installed in the combat compartment are electrically connected to instruments of the fire control system of the operator and the commander, the workstations of which are provided in a chassis of a combat vehicle, LU ATCJP are arranged on sides in vertical clearances of the tower and have a possibility of in-series launching of two ATCJP out of each LU, on the right in the fighting direction there located is AP ammunition loading hatch, in the rear part of the tower there located is a hatch providing maintenance of AC and the gun and access to instruments and mechanisms arranged inside the tower. Sighting units of the operator and the commander have a modular structure and are installed on stabilised platforms. The operator sighting unit is located on the right in the nose part of the tower in clearances of the front projection of the tower, the commander sighting unit is installed on the tower roof so that all-round view of the locality is provided. LU SIS are arranged under launching units of ATCJP and on the rear wall of the tower. In nose and rear parts of the tower there installed are additionally introduced SIS laser emission indicators.
