FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: solution of metal nitrates (0.3-5 mol/l NHO3) is mixed with solution of reducing agent and/or complex-forming reagent and supplied though sprayer of aerosol drying apparatus, which ensures heating of reaction mixture over the temperature of decomposition of reagents and formed complexes of metals (>400°C). Quantity of complexes is selected basing on conditions of total substitution of nitrate-ion in coordination sphere of metals. In some cases preliminary mixing of solutions is undesirable because of large gas release and/or sedimentation. In such cases solution of metal nitrates and solution of reagents are supplied into apparatus sprayer separately, where they are mixed before spraying. To obtain actinide oxides in low-valence condition and solid solutions of actinide oxides based on uranium dioxide inert gases or their mixtures are applied as medium in apparatus of aerosol drying.

EFFECT: possibility of obtaining metal oxides from nitrate solutions in one stage, including obtaining solid solutions of actinide oxides based on uranium dioxide without hydrogen application, as well as increase of safety and simplification of method of obtaining metal oxides, including mixed actinide oxides.
