FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shore abutments of bridges. The end most abutment of the bridge comprises a retaining wall, which holds soil pressure and performs function of a support bearing element, and a seat part for resting of the bridge span in the form of a monolithic grillage, combining upper parts of piles. The retaining wall includes steel tubular piles driven into soil and connected to each other in series with the help of tongued and grooved locks welded to their outer surfaces. The end most abutment of the bridge is equipped with an anchor-unloading platform installed in soil on additional piles with tongued and grooved locks fixed on their surfaces facing the retaining wall. At least some piles of the retaining wall have additional tongued and grooved locks that serve to ensure a lock joint with tongued and grooved locks of piles of the anchor-unloading platform with the purpose of anchoring of the retaining wall. The anchor-unloading platform effectively reduces soil impact at the retaining wall that serves as the support bearing element.
EFFECT: design of an end most abutment of a bridge has high operating properties, provides for reduced cost and timing of construction, is reliable and durable.
