FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology of generation of gas-drop jets of increased long range capability and can be used in fire-fighting equipment, agriculture in land irrigation, and other industries associated with the need for creation of long-range gas-liquid jets. The device for creating a gas-drop jet comprises the liquid and gas supply systems and the nozzle. The liquid supply system is implemented in two directions, including axial liquid supply through the inlet branch and a confusor and a cylindrical nozzle connected in series and coaxial with it, and the tangential liquid supply is carried out through the coaxial housing with the cylindrical nozzle, in the form of a cylindrical conical sleeve, on the cylindrical part of which a vortex annular chamber is fixed with the liquid supply pipe. Along the edges of the annular chamber there are two rows of liquid supply tangential channels, and in each row there are three tangential channels connecting the annular chamber with the cylindrical cavity of the housing, which is coaxially attached to the circular plate located perpendicular to the axis of the vortex annular chamber and rigidly connected to the cylindrical cavity of the housing in its end section, and a slotted nozzle is perpendicularly attached to the circular plate.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in efficiency of fire suppression by increasing the flight range of a gas-drop jet and expansion of the zone of the gas-drop jet supply.
