FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed process consists in that high-rate airflow is forced into combustion chamber and decelerated therein to make fuel mix to be ignited. Besides, fuel mix flow is decelerated to subsonic Mach number via contraction of combustion chamber. Fuel mix is ignited owing to keeping fuel in combustion chamber for time interval higher than that of induction in fuel oxidation reaction. Said time of keeping fuel in combustion chamber is set in compliance with claimed ratios. Combustion chamber contraction is ensured by gradual or local decrease in chamber cross-section.
EFFECT: simplified engine, higher reliability and completeness of fuel combustion.
