FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placement of a trimetallic workpiece into a closed container and squeezing of the workpiece through a hole of a conical die by application of a force to a rear edge of the pressed trimetallic workpiece. A die is used, the inclination angle of the generatrix of the conical channel to the pressing axis of which is specified by mathematical relationship allowing to increase single swagings, resistance of a process tool and quality of the surface of pressed items.
EFFECT: reduction of a pressing force and power consumption of a pressing process.
