FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: for weighing operation of each wheel of the aircraft two groups of sensors are placed on the taxi lane at a distance not less than its maximum possible length. Each group of sensors includes at least two sensors spaced along the direction of movement at a distance less than the minimum length of the aircraft. Measurements are performed at the same time, and for those sensors of each group, along which the wheel of the aircraft travels. The averaged readings of all sensors of the group are calculated for each group of sensors. Coefficients for correction of readings when weighing the next aircraft are calculated. Type and value of critical mass for this type of the aircraft are determined by the number of the aircraft. External view of the aircraft is inspected in the automated mode. When exceeding the critical mass of the aircraft or in presence of unremoved plugs, unclosed hatches, leakage of fuel or liquids, ice covering, person responsible for take-off is informed.

EFFECT: increase of flight safety of the aircraft.
