FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device used in a kitchen food treatment appliance, in particular, for cutting products in cubes. The device includes a rotary ring element the lower axial surface whereof adheres to the upper one. Provided for on the upper axial surface of the stationary part of the body and/or the lower axial surface of the rotary ring element (4) are means for radial transportation of the product being treated that is positioned inside the ring gap. The means for radial transportation of the product being treated are provided for in the direction of the rotation axis of the rotary ring element and contain at least one transportation channel made in the upper and/or lower axial surface and oriented at an angle in the radial direction. The external area of the transportation channel is ahead of the internal area of the transportation channel on the lower axial surface and/or is behind it on the upper axial surface.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility to partially remove from the ring gap the product being treated that has clung to it and causes undesirable friction losses; reduction of thermal load onto axial adherent surfaces of the device components that move relative each other.
