Nitrogen-filled extension tank includes nitrogen-filled vessel with heated water inlet and outlet devices and elastic chamber immersed in the vessel and designed to receive and displace heated water, with its volume changing uniformly according to heated water influx or discharge.
EFFECT: compensation of water hammer caused by thermal expansion of heated water.
