SUBSTANCE: intensified evaporative cooling system for a light-emitting diode (LED) module consists of a highly heat conductive base made of metal, metal-ceramic or a material having a structure of insulated conductors within a metal, with LEDs mounted thereon, which adjoins filler made of microporous material with mini-channels arranged under the LEDs perpendicular to the installation plane thereof such that parts of the heat conductive base adjoining the ends of the mini-channels form, in maximum proximity to the p-n junctions of the LEDs, an intensifying heat exchange surface, which is intensified through radial fins in the form of micro-channels with a triangular cross-section, the ratio of the depth to the width of which is 1 on the periphery and 2 at the centre.
EFFECT: providing highly efficient heat removal with minimal heat transfer resistance from each of the semiconductor LEDs assembled into a module.
