SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the awning for protection against impact for use with work zone of the industrial machine operator. The industrial machine has operator work zone. The operator work zone contains the awning for protection against impact. The awning for protection against impact contains shelf installed on the support assembly, which in its turn is made with possibility of installation on the industrial machine, and a hydraulic assembly for impact energy absorption. The shelf is installed on the support assembly such that it moves to and from the pulled out work position above the operator work zone and retracted storage position beyond the operator work zone. The hydraulic assembly for impact energy absorption contains a hydraulic lifting cylinder connected to the support assembly made with possibility of its lifting and lowering and having cover side, and a energy absorbing device connected to the hydraulic lifting cylinder.

EFFECT: increased operator protection against impact in work zone of the industrial machine.
