FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to starting systems of internal combustion engines (ICE) which use an electric motor and can be used on movable and stationary objects, for example on transport vehicles. An electric start of ICE includes housing 1, in which there located is electric motor 2, electromagnetic starter switch 11 and a connection assembly of a shaft of the electric motor to the ICE flywheel. Switch 11 has housing 16, windings 13, 14, armature 21 and normally open power contacts 26, 27. Contact 26 with cable 29 is connected to electric motor 2. Contact 27 is intended for connection to an electric power unit. The connection assembly is kinematically connected through lever 8 to armature 21. The electric starter is provided with electronic remote actuation device 31 of starter switch 11. It is located in housing 16, which is a part of housing 1 and includes an electronic control unit with a receiving port of the control signal, a normally open controlled switch connected to windings of the starter switch connected to the windings of the starter switch, as well as a contact for connection of an electric power unit.

EFFECT: improvement of protection of an electric starter and ICE against unauthorised actuation.
