FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices that are used in motor cultivators, mini-tractors, self-propelled installations, the design of which includes an internal combustion engine and a variable gearbox. A locking device installed on a vehicle with a manual starter contains a switch that interacts with an operator and a switch that interacts with the gearbox, which are connected in series between a control output of an ignition system and the mass. When installed on the vehicle with a manual and electric starter, the locking device additionally contains an electromagnetic relay, while the electric starter is connected to a battery via the electromagnetic relay and an ignition lock, and a contact of electromagnetic relay winding is connected to the mass through the switch that interacts with the gearbox, the other contact of electromagnetic relay winding is connected to the battery through the ignition lock.
EFFECT: invention will improve the safety of the vehicle by preventing the engine from starting when the gear is turned on.
