FIELD: physics, photography.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to luminescent non-silver photography and can be used to record information in systems where chemical and heat treatment of the photographic layer is not allowed. The present invention enables to deposit luminescent labels on different articles. Disclosed is a method of producing a positive luminescent image. The method includes exposing and fixing a light-sensitive layer containing a film-forming polymer with a light-sensitive substance. The light-sensitive substance used is an aromatic azide with concentration of 0.01-1.0 mol/l in the film-forming polymer. The layer is exposed to actinic light with luminance on its surface ≥3 mW/cm2, and the obtained image is fixed with actinic light with luminance on the surface of the layer ≤3 mW/cm2. Luminance during exposure is always greater than during fixing.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of producing a luminescent image and prevents release of harmful substances by avoiding the need to heat the photosensitive layer.
