FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises felling and stacking the trees cut on the ground with the butt in the direction of timber landing site, performed by the felling-and-bunching machine. The tree packs are placed at an angle to the exploitation forest belts. Formation the tree packs for skidding from several packs, formed by the felling-and-bunching machine, with the rise of trees, moving them over the ground surface and laying the crown on the track of the felling-and-bunching machine, skidding the tree packs is performed in motion of the skidding tractor on the track of the felling-and-bunching machine. When forming the tree packs for skidding, first the top end of the tree is raised and placed on the track of the felling-and-bunching machine by moving over the ground surface, and then the butt part of the tree is raised and placed in the forming device of the skidding tractor.
EFFECT: increased productivity and truck load of the skidding tractors.
