FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes mechanically crushing a catalyst, suspending in hydrocarbons which boil at a temperature higher than 320°C, and dispersing the obtained suspension with ultrasound until obtaining catalyst particles with size of not more than 1 mcm, reducing the catalyst in a helium current at temperature of up to 400°C and conducting olefin synthesis in flow conditions of material containing up to 100 wt % dimethyl ether through a slurry-type reactor.
EFFECT: method has high catalyst efficiency on the output of the end product.
