FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises pressing consoles with mandrels for bushes being installed on them, a pusher, a head piece installed at the mandrel and able of limited axial displacement, and articulating catches mounted at the head piece. The head piece interacts with the bush and the pusher, and the catches - with pressing consoles and the mandrel. The device is preferable to comprise a pin and a spring in addition to the above, and the pusher - to interact with the spring and the head piece by the pin.
EFFECT: expanded functionality of the device, performance of press fitting with small lead-in chamfers in bushes and with no chamfers in the holes into which the bushes are press fit.
