SUBSTANCE: water purification and disinfection apparatus includes a housing fitted with a cover, a filter element, an inlet nozzle and a settling tank. An outlet pipe is fitted on the cover. A ring is mounted in the upper part of the housing, the outer surface of the ring being in contact with the inner surface of the housing. Ultraviolet LEDs are mounted on the inner surface of the cover. The settling tank is in the form of a hollow hemisphere, facing with the centre downwards. The inlet nozzle is mounted at the centre of the settling tank. A pipe connected to the inlet nozzle is mounted vertically in the housing. The pipe is fitted with a deflector in the form of a helix, wherein the axis of symmetry of the deflector coincides with the axis of symmetry of the pipe. The pipe has a slit whose length is equal to that of the deflector, wherein the upper edge of the slit is located on the level of the upper edge of the deflector. The deflector is fitted with a circular plate, the diameter of which is equal to the external diameter of the deflector. The ring is mounted over the plate and ledges are placed on the lower surface of the cover. The filter element is in the form of a cylinder, the diameter of which is equal to the internal diameter of the housing, and is placed between the ring and the ledges. Between the upper surface of the filter element and the ledges there is a perforated circular plate, the diameter of which is equal to the internal diameter of the housing. The upper surface of the perforated plate, the lower surface of the cover and the area of the housing between the perforated plate and the cover are mirrored.

EFFECT: invention improves the quality of purifying and disinfecting water.
