FIELD: water purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for purification and disinfection of water. The apparatus for purification and disinfection of water is comprised of a body 1 equipped with a cover 2 with ledges on the lower surface thereof, ultraviolet LEDs 3 installed on the inner surface thereof, ultrasound emitters 4, a settling tank 5 shaped as a hollow hemisphere with the centre thereof facing downward, an outlet branch pipe 6 installed in the cover 2, a perforated tube 7 installed vertically in the body 1, a deflector shaped as a logarithmic spiral, installed on the tube 8, a plate 9 with perforated edges, installed on the deflector 8 with the bottom down, the outer diameter whereof is equal to the inner diameter of the body 1, a filtering element 10 shaped as a cylinder, and a water supply branch pipe 11. A sealed casing 12 repeating the shape of the body 1 is installed outside of the body 1. The lower end of the perforated tube 7 is installed in the cavity between the body 1 and the casing 12. The water supply branch pipe 11 is tangentially installed in a horizontal plane in the upper part of the casing 12. An ozone supply branch pipe 13 is tangentially installed opposite the water supply branch pipe 11. An additional deflector 14 configured to impart rotational movement around the body on the water is installed in the cavity between the body 1 and the casing 12. The ultrasound emitters 4 are installed on the inner surface of the casing 12.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure high-quality purification of water from impurities and soluble iron and manganese compounds contained therein, simultaneously disinfecting the water.
