FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: method of fire extinguishing consists in creating a fire extinguishing medium in the fire seat, by releasing from a sealed container of an extinguishing fluid of compressed gas propellant under pressure. In the extinguishing fluid prior to its release from the sealed container an inert gas dispersant is added, capable of dissolving in the extinguishing fluid under the propellant gas pressure, at that the extinguishing medium is formed of the extinguishing fluid and the inert gas dispersant in the form of an atomised flow.
EFFECT: improvement of the efficiency of extinguishing fire seats, minimising the damage from the effects of application, with the ease of implementation.
