SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock husbandry. The proposed system of positioning the element of the tubular element 5, 6, 9, connected to the cup-shaped element 4, 8, comprises a mechanism of positioning and the control device 14. The positioning mechanism, made with the ability to retain the cup-shaped element 4, 8 and the tubular element 5, 6, 9 in the parked position in the hopper 3 and 7, when the cup-shaped element 4, 8 is not used, and with the ability of drawing the cup-shaped element 4, 8 from the tubular element 5, 6, 9, from the parked position to the position of connection to the dug of the animal 1. The control device is made to determine the individual adapted released length of the tubular element 5, 6, 9, in response to the information from the detection means 12, 13a, 13b, capable to determine the parameter which enables to determine the position of the dug of the animal 1. The control device 14 is also made for controlling the positioning mechanism so that it adjusts the releasable length of the tubular element 5, 6, 9, to a certain individually releasable length.

EFFECT: invention provides increase in operating characteristics, prevents contamination of equipment, removal of the teat cup from the dug of the animal.
