The invention relates to the devices for purifying liquid and can be used for removal of dispersed admixtures from water and purification of waste and natural waters. It allows to purify not only water, but other liquids too, which viscosity is closed to the viscosity of water, for example gasoline, diesel fuel, sunflower oil, wine material etc. A device for purifying liquids contains chambers installed at a distance to each other and open from above with a layer of filtering material, conduits with hydraulic locks, supply and discharge branches, in the case supply pipes are located under the layer of filtering material. The chambers are divided into filtering elements with multilayer filtering materials, which are hermetically retained on the perimeter by multisection frames. Each chamber for effective operation in the regeneration mode is equipped with, at least, one vibrator with parameters, which are determined by formulas, and an emitter for supersonic frequency for disinfection with the power of influence not less than 2 W/cm. The invention allows to improve fundamental technological characteristics of the filter (efficiency, rate of filtration, volume of filtering material) by ten times and more, and to carry out a simple regeneration of the filtering material and its disinfection also.
