HYDROLOGICAL-HYDROCHEMICAL PROBE TO DETECT PROFILE OF CONCENTRATION OF DISSOLVED HYDROGEN SULFIDE (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N27/333

Abstract RU 2549247 C1

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: according to the first version of the invention a hydrological-hydrochemical probe to detect concentration of dissolved hydrogen sulfide includes a submerged device (SD), comprising, for example, five measuring converters (1-5), including a converter (1) of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration index. The outlet of each measuring converter is connected accordingly to one of inlets of an adapter (6), the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of a system controller (10), the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of a power supply, synchronisation and communication unit (11), the outlet of which via a weight-bearing communication cable (WBCC) is connected to the inlet of an on-board device (OBD). The OBD comprises a unit of cable communication (12), in which the inlet is the inlet of the OBD, and outlets are connected to appropriate inlets of a facility of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration profile (13), the outlet of which is the outlet of the probe. The outlet of an additive mixer (7) is connected with the sixth inlet of the adapter (6). The additive mixer (7) comprises (n+1) inlets, where n -.number of factors impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water, which is determined by the specified measurement error. In this example n=2, therefore the additive mixer (7) has three inlets, the first inlet is connected to the outlet of the converter (1) of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration index, the second inlet via an error signal generator (8) from one of factors impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water - from pH, is connected to the outlet of the measuring converter (2), the signal from which displays pH factor. The third inlet of the additive mixer (7) is connected to outlets of several measuring converters, signals from which in a combination display one of factors impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water (salinity) - is connected to outlets of the measuring converter (3) of temperature, converter (4) of electroconductivity and converter (5) of pressure. The probe according to the second version comprises measuring converters (1-5), inlets of which are connected to five inlets of the adapter (6), the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of the system controller (7), the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of the power supply, synchronisation and communication unit (8), the inlet of which via the WBCC is connected to the inlet of the OBD, which comprises a cable communication unit (9), in which the inlet is the OBD inlet, and outlets corresponding to outlets of measuring converters (1-5), are connected to inlets of the facility for display of the profile of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration (10), the outlet of which is the outlet of the probe. The OBD, as the SD in the first version of the probe, comprises an additive mixer (11) with (n+1) inlets, where n -.number of factors impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water, which is determined by the specified measurement error. In this case n=2. The outlet of the additive mixer (11) is connected to the additional inlet of the facility for display of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration profile (10). The first inlet of the additive mixer (11) is connected to the outlet of the cable communication unit (9), corresponding to the signal from the converter (1) of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration index, the second inlet of the additive mixer (11) via the error signal generator (12) from the pH factor impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water, is connected to the outlet of the cable communication unit (9), corresponding to the measuring converter 2, the signal from which displays the pH factor. The third inlet of the additive mixer (11) via the error signal generator (13) from the salinity factor impacting dissociation of hydrogen sulfide dissolved in water, is connected to several outlets of the cable communication unit (9), corresponding to several measuring converters, signals from which in a combination display the salinity factor - in this example with outlets corresponding to the temperature converter (3), electroconductivity converter (4) and pressure converter (5).

EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection of dissolved hydrogen sulfide concentration profile and its resolution without application of a cassette of water samplers.
