FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: stator windings (2) of linear synchronous traction motor develop travelling magnetic field displacing along track structure supports (1). Superconducting solenoids (6) induce magnetic field interacting with travelling magnetic field of stator windings (2) brings about traction force. In motion of rolling stock (4), magnetic field of superconducting solenoids (6) interact with eddy currents induced in short-circuited coils of suspension (3) to cause electrodynamic repulsion forces, that is, the forces of suspension. In motion of aerodynamic plates (7) relative to support plates (8) aerodynamic force of repulsion originates caused by aerodynamic shield effect. Thus, at preset total force of suspension acting at rolling stock (4), required electrodynamic force decreases as well as required magneto motive force of eddy currents induced in short-circuited coils of suspension (3), hence, the number of turns in suspension coil (3) decreases.
EFFECT: reduced weight and overall dimensions.
