FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: friction-polymeric shock-absorber for the automatic coupler equipment comprises the housing (1), where a pressure cone, frictional wedges located in contact with spring-loaded package of elastic polymeric elements, moving friction plates and fixed friction plates incorporating anti-friction elements are placed. The shock-absorber is fitted with mechatronic module designed as electromagnets, built-in in the housing of the device along the side of contact of moving friction plates with the shock-absorber housing, motion and force sensors, and microcontroller, which on the basis of readings of sensors forms the holding force.
EFFECT: stability of force characteristics, increase of energy content, reliability and longevity of the device.
