FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed damper consists of casing, pressure device and elastic support element fitted into said casing with some interference fit. Said elastic support element represents a set of washers or blocks made from pressed wide material. T-section friction elements are arranged between said washers or blocks with radial fit. Friction elements stay in contact with casing inner surface along side surfaces of flanges, while along side surfaces of legs and inner surfaces they contact washers or blocks. Radial fit of washers or block in fitting them in casing is inversely proportional to linear function of coordinate of arrangement of every friction element with respect to casing base. Density of washers or blocks varies along the damper axis.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, independence of temperature, stable operating properties.
