FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to molecular diagnostics. A device for exposing a liquid sample to acoustic energy by generating cavitation in a liquid sample comprises a high-intensity ultrasonic wave source and a cartridge comprising a liquid sample and a liquid-air interface. The device is configured to focus high-intensity ultrasonic waves so that the cartridge integrated into the device generates a liquid well head above the liquid-air interface inside the cartridge, while a well head drop is a nucleation element. The group of inventions also refers to a system and a method for exposing the liquid sample to acoustic energy, as well as to a machine-readable medium with a software program for implementing the above method.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides probe processing by focused acoustic energy to generate the homogenous cavitation in the sample with reducing the desired energy and power.
