FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering. Passenger compartment hand-rail includes handles, articulated assemblies, U-shaped mounting clips and covers. Handle body comprises pivot lugs on left and right opposite ends. Articulated assemblies comprise a pair of articulated joint housings which are at opposite sides pivotally connected with pivot lugs with possibility of turning. U-shaped mounting clips are made of spring metal and have resilient tabs on each of the sides. Resilient tabs are provided with convex elements extending outwards. Mounting clips are inserted into rectangular holes made at the centre of a pair of articulated joint housings. Covers close front surface of articulated assemblies. Covers comprise heel of clip being inserted into resilient tabs at both sides of mounting clip and into articulated joint housings. Cover is put on articulated joint housing by pressing from front to back. Guiding groove and guiding rib are made so that to work together and provide sliding contact along insertion direction in that part where between articulated joint housing and cover sliding contact is created when the cover is pushed in articulated joint housing. On the front end of extending spring area of mounting clip, the first latch tongue in the form of curved plate and the second latch tongue in the form of flat plate are made. When articulated joint housing with mounting clip is inserted into rectangular hole made in vehicle body panel then the first latch tongue engages with peripheral areas of body panel rectangular hole, and end of the second latch tongue engages with rear part of body panel.

EFFECT: easy installation of passenger compartment hand-rail.
