Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a sensor for detection of nitrogen oxides includes a substrate including a porous membrane, a compound of aromatic amines, a gas passage system, an optic detection system for receiving the transmitted light from the compound of aromatic amines for detection of optical changes in the compound of aromatic amines; with that, the compound of aromatic amines includes a compound chosen from a group consisting of aromatic monoamines, derivatives of aromatic monoamines and 1,2-diaminobenzene.
EFFECT: providing a possibility of improving reliability of nitrogen oxide detection.
