FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: spiral dosing feeder comprises a casing (1) with a loading (2) and an unloading (3) sections and a conveying spiral unit (4) installed in it, fitted by at least one pin (5) of rectangular cross-section being connected to the inner sides of the spiral turns. A drive shaft (8) is fitted by a keyhole slot (9) where the rod for the transmission of the spiral torque is mounted. A flat disk (7) is installed at the driving end of the spiral unit, the pin and the driving spiral turn (6) are attached to the disk and form a rigid triangle. The number of rods is defined by the maximal permissible load on the cut of the pin. If there are more than one pin, the number of keyhole slots corresponds to the number of pins.

EFFECT: simplified replacement of the spiral unit and its attachment to a drive shaft.
