FIELD: physics, communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to open optical communication and can be used for communication between subscribers located in ship compartments, as well as between ships and the coast. A microphone transmitter amplifier is made on a microchip, the negative feedback circuit of which includes a controlled attenuator based on a field-effect transistor, wherein the output signal of the microphone amplifier is transmitted to the input of a comparison stage; a signal from the output of a former is transmitted to the output of said stage, said former consisting of series-connected multivibrator and integrator; the output signal of the comparison stage is transmitted to a two-stage key power amplifier, the load of which is a light-emitting diode; optical radiation from the light-emitting diode is transmitted to a photodetector, from which a signal is transmitted to a resonance amplifier, the circuit of which includes a resonance circuit, wherein optical systems of the transmitter and the receiver are identical and are plane-convex lenses.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity, reliability and longer communication range.
