SUBSTANCE: optical system comprises a housing (1) with an input opening (2) for inputting a laser beam (4) along an optical axis (3), where said beam is reflected from a first conical mirror (5), passes through a cylindrical window (6), an annular conical mirror (7) and, after passing through the annular toroidal mirror (8) and the main toroidal mirror (9), is output through an output opening (10), and focused at a point (11). The first conical mirror (5) is mounted by supports (12) on a disc (13) to which the main toroidal mirror (9) and the cylindrical window (6), with an attached ring (14), are attached.

EFFECT: high uniformity of irradiating a thermonuclear target by forming a wide-angle homocentric laser beam having a solid aperture.
