FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering. The antenna comprises parallel first 1 and second 2 active dipoles, two reflectors 3 and 4 with a different length, four directors 5, 6, 7 and 8 with a different length. The middle points of the dipoles, reflectors and directors lie on a line directed along the surface of a bearing single-deck metal arrow 9, which defines the direction of maximum radiation towards the directors 5, 6, 7 and 8. When assembled, the antenna is mounted on a metal pole and directed on the azimuth and elevation angle in an external direction. The length of the first and second active dipoles is half the average wavelength of the low-frequency and high-frequency ranges, respectively. Both active dipoles lie in the same plane as the reflectors and directors and are located in immediate proximity. The points of parallel connection thereof are connected to either a symmetrical double-wire screened feeder or anti-phase outputs of a balancing device having the required bandwidth. To provide directional radiation and antenna matching, all dimensions of the radiating system must be optimally selected during setup.
EFFECT: improved matching of a dual-band Yagi-Uda antenna with a feeder (balancing device) in each of two non-adjacent frequency bands.
