SUBSTANCE: accumulator of products comprises two parallel carriers (4, 5) displacing in opposite directions (A, B). Bypass element (9) has bypass section (10) extending through carriers for transfer of products (2) from first accumulator section (8.1) of the first carrier to second accumulator section (8.2) of the second carrier. Servo drive (15, 22) for rearrangement (C) of bypass element at displacement along carrier for change in capacity of accumulator sections that make a transportation plane (TE), said servo drive (15, 22) being arranged there under. Carriers or their rate can be controlled irrespectively of rearrangement of bypass element. In direction of the first carrier (4) element (24, 25) is arranged upstream of said bypass element to direct the flow of products to be actuated and/or displaced in direction parallel with bypass element or its bypass section.
EFFECT: adjustable accumulation capacity.
