FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressor industry, to variable speed compressors. A compressor comprises a crankshaft, a bearing, an oil sump, an oil pump and a branch pipe for pressure balancing. The crankshaft comprises an oil supplying channel made in the shaft in the longitudinal direction. The bearing supports the lower part of the crankshaft with the possibility of rotation. The oil sump is set near the lower part of the crankshaft. The oil pump comprises an oil inlet port, an oil outlet port, an oil receiving chamber and an oil discharge chamber. The oil inlet port can be located below the oil level in the oil sump and be hydraulically communicated with the oil receiving chamber. The oil discharge chamber can be hydraulically communicated with the oil supplying channel in the lower part of the crankshaft via the oil outlet port. The pressure balancing branch pipe provides for hydraulic connection between the space above the oil level in the oil sump and the oil receiving chamber. Oil consumption does not essentially depend on the rotation speed of the crankshaft.
