FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for soil material excavation under water. The device comprises a pontoon equipped with an excavator made as capable of digging soil under water, actuating elements made as capable of pontoon and/or excavator movement control, the first controlling facility made as capable of tracking excavator position. At the same time the floating excavator with a back shovel also comprises the second controlling facility made as capable to track load experienced by the excavator, and the third controlling facility made as capable to track pontoon position, a computer made as capable to calculate control signals for actuating facilities on the basis of data received from the first, second and third controlling facilities.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of bottom-dredging works performance.
