FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: after rib and part surface fit with creation of V-groove with top in point of convergence they are heated by passage of HF current. The current conductors are installed along the welding axis at distance from the point of convergence. One of them is installed on the rib, and the another one - on the part surface creating zone of its pre-heating between the current conductor and point of convergence. Each current conductor is connected to the appropriate HF current generator. Heating during welding is regulated on the condition to ensure optimal temperature in the point of convergence of the rib and part surface by power change of the appropriate HF current generator depending on the comparison result of the received temperature values measured during welding on the part surface upstream the current conductor.
EFFECT: assurance of high productivity upon simultaneous quality improvement of the said channel.
