FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: process for connecting pipes with internal coating includes installation of back-up bushing with installed at its ends sealing elements inside the pipe ends, pipes connection by welding, and joint sealing between surfaces of the back-up bushing and pipe ends with internal coating before or after pipes connection by welding. Bimetal back-up bushing is installed inside the pipe ends, the bushing comprises external steel bushing and internal shell out of corrosion-resistant steel, their ends project beyond the end faces of the external bushing, at the projecting ends of the external surfaces of the shell the sealing elements are installed, the joint is sealed between the surfaces of the bimetal back-up bushing and pipe ends with internal coating by means of radial spreading of the projecting ends of the shell with installed sealing elements. The sealing elements are glued to the surfaces of the ends of the shell and pipes.

EFFECT: simplified connection process of pipes with internal coating.
