FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: lens having a field angle larger than 180 degrees and includes a front group, a reflection surface and a back group. The front group includes three negative lenses, the reflection surface changes the direction of the optical axis by an angle of 90 degrees and the back group includes four positive lenses. The front principle point is located between the second lens and the third lens in the front group. The focal length f of the lens and the distance d between the intersection of the reflection surface and the optical axis and the front principle point satisfy the condition 7.0<d/f<9.0. The imaging device includes two optical imaging systems, comprising a wide-angle lens and an imaging sensor and linked such that the lenses are located opposite each other, and images are synthesised to obtain an image in a solid angle of 4π radians. The distance d1 and d2 between the intersection of the reflection surface and the optical axis and the front principal point in the wide-angle lenses of the imaging system and the focal length f of the wide-angle lens satisfy the condition 16≤(d1+d2)/f<21.
EFFECT: reduced image disparity and high image quality.
