FIELD: optical instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to creation of optical systems for collimator displays and can be used to create helmet-mounted display devices. The optical system comprises a microdisplay, a biconvex aspherical lens, a flat-cylindrical lens, an aspherical positive meniscus, a positive meniscus, two flat mirrors, and an inclined spherical combiner.
EFFECT: reduction in the number of optical elements and mass of the system, increase in image quality, providing the possibility of using a self-luminous microdisplay.
