FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for inspecting parallel alignment of optical axes comprises a three-mirror prism in the form of a corner reflector with two mirror surfaces, which form a right angle with each other, and a flat mirror. The entrance and exit pupils of the device are optically interfaced with the corner reflector and the flat mirror. In one of the pupils of the device there are compensation wedges, having the same vertex angle, and in the other pupil there is an additional wedge which transmits only half of the beam. The base of the additional wedge coincides with the projection of the face of the dihedral angle of the corner reflector in the pupil. The value of the angle of deviation of the beam by the additional wedge has the same magnitude as the ghosting value but an opposite sign.
EFFECT: eliminating ghosting of a radiation source at the output of the device and easy assembling and adjustment.
