FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: grinder contains a motor plate connecting the base with casing made out of pipe with square cross-section, on it the work plate is installed with possibility of securing to it of the work tool and adjusted thrust table. Motor with drive pulley and lever with tensioner and position regulation device of abrasive belt. The belt is tensioned through the drive pulley of the motor, position regulation device of the abrasive belt, and work tool. Between the casing and said lever a gas spring is installed with possibility of securing by one end to the casing, and by second end to the lever.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and quality of the parts machining due to dampening of the occurring oscillations, machine rigidity.
