SUBSTANCE: invention refers to food industry. A food mixing machine comprises a mixer for mixing food products in a cup, a cup holder configured to incorporate a cup, a clamping element enclosing the above cup holder and including a number of bolts configured to engage with the cup in a number of positions, and a clamping driver configured to move in relation to the above clamping element. When the clamping driver travels, the above clamping element engages or disengages the cup randomly. According to the other embodiment, the machine additionally comprises a seal assembly supported by the body. The seal assembly comprises a sealing for interaction to the above cup holder when the cup holder travels through a body hole. According to the third version, the machine has the above seal assembly, and the clamping driver and the clamping element. What is also presented is a method for food mixing by means of the above device.

EFFECT: invention enables mixing food, preventing contamination if the food slops out of the cup.
