SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Described is method for direct signal sampling of multiple radio frequency bands, which includes receiving a first radio frequency band (331) signal via a first interface and at least another radio frequency band (332, 333) signal via at least another interface, the first radio frequency band and the at least another radio frequency band corresponding to different frequency bands, and the first radio frequency band or the at least another radio frequency band being a DAB band. Further, the method includes receiving (104) a selection signal via an interface, wherein the selection signal indicates if further processing of the first radio frequency band (331) signal and/or the at least another radio frequency band (332, 333) signal is provided. Depending on the selection signal, the first radio frequency band (331) signal is sampled (106) with a common sampling frequency and/or the at least another radio frequency band (332, 333) signal is sampled at the common sampling frequency.
