SUBSTANCE: method to detect a digital radio signal comprises stages of digital radio signal reception, including a sequence of signals, detection of a correlation signal shape, having a peak, which corresponds to a symbol border, normalisation of a correlation signal shape and calculation of a peak value of a normalised shape of a correlation signal, at the same time the peak value represents quality of the received digital radio signal. Also a receiver is proposed, which is intended for method realisation.
EFFECT: provision of accurate indication of quality of received FM signals.
