FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A protection method of a gas-turbine engine containing a compressor, a combustion chamber and a turbine against highly dynamic parameters, namely at flame pulsations in the combustion chamber, at which pulsations of the combustion chamber are measured, a frequency spectrum of the measured signal of pulsations is divided into the specified pieces of a bandpass, a root-mean-square value of a signal is calculated for each band, weighted design root-mean-square values of frequency or a frequency range are determined by using the specified weight coefficients, weighted root-mean-square values of frequency or the frequency range are accumulated to obtain a value of a pulsation limit criterion, and this value is compared to one reference value, and operation of the gas-turbine engine is provided according to the result of the above comparison. Besides, the gas-turbine engine is presented for implementation of the method according to the invention.

EFFECT: invention allows providing a communication between pulsations of an engine and service life of the structure.
