FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of waterproof ammonite, used for open and underground works, except mines and ore mines, hazardous with respect to gas and dust. Method of obtaining waterproof ammonite includes mixing ammonium nitrate, trotyl and sodium stearate-containing hydrophobiser, in amount not less than 0.1 wt % of product and iron (III) compound not less than 0.03 wt % of product (counted per iron) and the following milling. Hydrophobiser and trotyl are introduced into ammonium nitrate simultaneously, with hydrophobiser additionally containing sodium palmitate with ratio to sodium stearate from 0.01:0.99 to 0.99:0.01 respectively. It is possible to use sodium palmitate as hydrophobiser in amount not less than 0.1% of product weight.
EFFECT: method ensures obtaining ammonite with increased in comparison with analogues value of water resistance, reduction of process energy consumption and its duration.
