FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: method of detecting the type of the forest fire by monitoring the temperature change using the n number of sensors located in the controlled area, encoding each sensor signal in accordance with its number and transmitting it by radio channel to the monitoring centre. In the sensor the temperature switch is used connected to the power supply, which triggering when the temperature rises above the threshold value actuates the transmitter circuit. The temperature switch is located in the ground at a depth of 5-10 cm, but above the rest of the transmitter circuit, on the code of the sensor its location is determined in the monitoring centre. After actuation of the temperature switch the values of the sound pressure (noise) of forest fire are measured through an acoustic sensor located near the temperature switch, these values are converted into an electrical signal and transmitted by radio channel together with the sensor code to the monitoring centre, where according to it the creeping or crown fire is identified by comparing the amplitudes of the timing diagrams and frequency spectra of the sound pressure with known in advance for creeping and crown fires.
EFFECT: possibility to identify the type of forest fire in detection of its location.
