SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of heat-insulating materials and can be used in the construction of residential and industrial buildings. A raw material mixture for obtaining a heat-insulating material contains components at the following ratio, wt %: fibrous filling agent 10-16, binding agent 0.1-0.5, toluylenediisocyanate-based curing agent 0.01-0.02, foam-generating agent 0.1-0.4% water solution of sodium alkylbenzosulphonate 0.01-0.02, water 83-89.88.
EFFECT: reduction of heat conductivity with the application of a secondary fibrous raw material.
